Time is flying by....weeks are flying by. So here goes....a weeks worth (and then some) of photos. All instagram style. I like photos from my camera better. But truth of the matter is, I don't lug it with me. And my iphone is a good substitute. So...if it wouldn't be for my phone...I'd have no pictures at all. It's better than nothing. Although I do have to make a better effort at taking my camera along with me wherever we go.
A couple of weeks ago, I looked after Wyatt and Sawyer for an afternoon/evening so that their mama could get ready and host an epicure party. What alot of fun! This was the view of my backseat. It isn't usually this full of sweet and ever-so-cute little faces...
We spent most of the time at grandma's house...with a few little roadtrips to get Max to New Hamburg to meet up with Keith so they could go to a Kitchener Rangers game. We added a little side trip to Tim Horton's for the little boys after we dropped off Max. They loved it. Vanessa snapped this picture of me with her bb while I was reading "Go Dog Go!" ....I must have read it three times....they loved it...
Last Friday (Nov 9) was a PD day. Of course, the Maxter didn't sleep in. He was up bright and early making...snowflakes. I love how he gets random creative streaks! :)
He taped all his snowflakes to a piece of white yarn and they are decorating the china cabinet.
I quite like it...
Later in the afternoon, the two of us drove to Keith's work and parked my truck there for the weekend. The three of us headed out for Erin where Max had a hockey game at 6:30pm.
And what a hockey game it was! Our Huskies WON! That is huge. They haven't had very many wins this season so we were all feeling very excited about it. The final score was 5-3 and the Maxter scored one of those goals. :) It was a lovely way to start the weekend if I do say so myself...
(Max is in the middle - leaning down on his stick, behind the red gloves.)
After the game, we hit the road for Barrie. The next item on our weekend agenda was heading up north to celebrate Keith's parents 60th birthdays on Saturday. We grabbed a hotel in Barrie for the night...
The next morning we once again hit the road, Sudbury bound. We had just read an article in the local newspaper about these wildlife crossings they have built over major hwy's recently...
We met up with Keith's entire family (including great grandma!) at Montana's in Sudbury for lunch. It was a lovely lunch. Sadly, I have no photos to show for it. Too busy eating and chatting I suppose. Afterwards we went to chapters for an hour or two...Max showed me the books he's interested in and would like (Big Nate series) so that I know for christmas shopping... :)
We indulged in Starbucks bevies...
Max picked out a Waldo book that is seriously hard and gives me a headache looking at it!
And then we all met up with everyone again at Science North, to watch an IMAX movie - Hubble.
Max, Kyle and Kurtis tried out the wind tunnel thing...
All the grandkids corralled together in one spot. That's tricky to do!
After that we headed for Grandpa and Grandma's house where it was cousin playtime. We spent the evening playing and chatting and eating together. In the morning we had a nice breakfast and then the three of us hit the road again to get back home. Max alternated between his DS and his waldo book the entire way home. Totally entertained. :)
We made it back in time for his next hockey game in New Hamburg. We played against Arthur and lost unfortunately. Better luck next time!
This past week we sold a beloved playmobil item on kijiji that we've had in our home for many years. Earlier this year Max said he was ready to get rid of his airport set. We decided to wait until closer to Christmas to try selling it...the first person to contact me bought the entire set so it worked out well. Now there's one lucky little 3 year old boy out there who's getting a great toy set for Christmas....just like our Max did years ago!

It's nice to have it out of our house now though! ;)
