picnic in the park

This past Sunday after church, The Gerbers had an impromptu picnic in the little Wellesley Park....we ordered take-out from the Grill & Chill and then hung out at the park. There seemed to be lots of plans amongst everyone throughout the day so this worked out the best for everyone...

Their dear (not-so) old dad took a nap while they were playing....

But it was def short lived...

Happy Fathers Day Chaddie Boy...that is what it's all about. Hope you survive fatherhood! ;)

In the afternoon, Keith took Max "big golfing" for the very first time. Jesse went along with them and they met up with Kyle and James. It was a hit. And Max has another new fav sport to add to his list. What sport doesn't he like? That's a mystery!  :)

In the evening we went over to the Gerber's for a while. I made it my goal to get some photos of Max with Grandpa. Looking back through my photos I realized we were sadly lacking grandpa and Max photos so I was determined to change that. Unfortunately though, the mosquitos were really baaaaaaad. So I had about 45 seconds to snap these before we gave up and called it quits.
