Mmmmm....

One of my favourite fall beverages is hot apple cider. Nothing fancy. I just pour sweet cider in a mug, sprinkle cinnamon on top and microwave it for a minute or two. Perfect.

Due to the lack of apples around here this year, I might have to "hoard" my one little jug of sweet cider that I picked up at the Apple Butter & Cheese Festival this past Saturday. Keith was at the NECA convention in Vegas on the weekend so Max and I packed up and met Janice and went to the annual Wellesley ABC Festival. The weather was warm, sunny and quite lovely. Which means....crowds and crowds and crowds of people. Around noon, we grabbed food from the festival and walked to LeeAnne's house. She wasn't home. But I have a key. ;) So we broke-in and ate our lunch in her beautiful house, free of stinging bees and crowds of people. It was quite the perfect thing to do!

We did our dishes and left her the remaining apple pie to thank her. :) And then we pretty much decided we had enough of the ABC and headed home. Fun. But tiring. And there was just way to many people who all had the same idea that day as us - check out the festival. :)
