Another autumn week is drawing to an end....
One of my favourite song right now (and especially on Friday) is appropriately called "It's Friday" by Dean Brody featuring Great Big Sea. Great tune!
I am currently enjoying a big bouquet of fall leaves in my dining room (thankyou Keith!). They have just about seen the end though. And my (new) favourite fall scented candle: Pumpkin Buttercream by Yankee. Yum! Doing my best to embrace fall!:)
This past Wednesday, I spent a fun-filled day with my cousin Tricia. We had such a good time together and packed alot in.....a bit of shopping at Living Waters Christian Bookstore in Linwood, popped by to see my mama who wasn't at home so I gave Tricia a tour of their house instead (I seem to have a habit of "breaking in" my family members houses. The secret is to have a key!) We had a lovely lunch at Schmidtsville Restaurant in Wellesley and then spent the remainder of our time making cards. Max came home from school and even managed to get in on the action for a little while.
(Tricia brought along some DELICIOUS pumpkin whoopie pies with cream cheese icing that she had made. YUM YUM! We sure enjoyed them! Even Max who thinks he doesn't like anything pumpkin. He thought they were gingerbread....we'll just let him think that.)
Our backyard definitely has that fallish feeling...
I'm working on editing photos from a photoshoot of a "little one" :)...
At the end of September I hosted an Epicure tasting party at my house. It was fun and there was lots of good food to sample. I was too busy the night of the party to take any photos but this is what the dining room looked like a couple of hours before everyone arrived....By the time the consultant was finished, the table was filled with different dips and food items to sample.
This is what my dining room looks like this afternoon. The epicure order just arrived. Guess I know what I'll be busy doing over the course of the next couple of days....delivering everyone's orders!
The big things on the agenda this weekend are hockey (a game and a one day tournament) for the Maxter. And also Jon & Sheila and boys will be around on Sunday so we're hoping for a chance to see them too if our schedules work out. :)
